Since it was founded, the Enita of Clermont Ferrand, from its position at the centre of agronomic further education, has aided the development of farming, the food industry and the rural economy, within the framework of its training, research and technological and scientific information assignments.
Whilst maintaining production, the primary function of farming, at the forefront, we have directed our teaching and our research towards far-reaching innovations, combining food quality and hygiene requirements with respect for natural resources, biodiversity and the balance of the rural environment.
Faithful to the idea of multi-skilled engineers with a realistic professional outlook, the Clermont-Ferrand Enita has set itself the task of training the managers of tomorrow, those who will shape a sustainable development in farming, agribusiness and the rural landscape.
This is our collective goal, an education and research mission backed by scientific and professional partnerships, which embraces our regional economic challenges while looking outward to the rest of Europe and beyond.
